Mental Math Speed Tips
These techniques are used by math champions to calculate faster than a calculator. Practice them regularly until they become automatic.
Spend 2 minutes on Easy mode first to activate your number sense before tackling harder levels.
For addition/subtraction of large numbers, process digits left-to-right (hundreds first) instead of right-to-left for faster mental math.
Round to the nearest 10 for a quick estimate, then fine-tune. This catches most timer-pressure mistakes.
If you can recall any multiplication fact in under 2 seconds, you're ready for Hard mode. Practice daily.
