Peak season from May 15 to September 30 is projected to bring approximately 11,000 Russian/CIS visitors monthly. The city targets 20 million total visitors for the year with 30-40% growth.
Peak Season Outlook
From May to September, Da Nang enters beach season and becomes an ideal destination for Russian and CIS tourists seeking warm weather, beautiful beaches, and affordable costs. Flight frequency from Astana doubles to 6 per week from June, while Vladivostok increases to 3 flights monthly.
Impact: With each flight averaging 200-370 passengers and expected spending of $1,000-1,500 per person per trip, revenue from Russian/CIS tourists could reach $120-180 million over 7 months.
